Credit Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to support our loan officers in analyzing financial data from commercial, consumer, and agricultural clients. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team, assist in credit assessments, and provide critical financial insights that drive lending decisions.
In-Office Position
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers in analyzing financial information from clients across various sectors.
- Analyze business and personal tax returns, financial statements, and risk to determine credit quality using Sageworks or similar systems.
- Prepare loan presentations, comment sheets, and annual reviews.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on credit analysis and review work when needed.
- Accompany loan officers on client and prospect calls to help build and maintain key relationships.
- Attend training sessions and collaborate on ideas and solutions for continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Clear and informative written communication.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance or lending; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in reviewing personal tax returns and financial statements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
