Drew Flaagan Named to Prairie Business’ 40 Under 40 List
First International Bank and Trust (FIBT) Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer, Drew Flaagan is named among Prairie Business’ annual 40 Under 40 List. The list features 40 exceptional business professionals who are under the age of 40 in the North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota region. The criteria for this award include service and giving back to the community, significant impacts and excelling in their profession, as well as leadership and dedication to their industry.
Drew Flaagan began his career in 2009 as a Credit Analyst, shortly after graduating from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Throughout his thirteen-year tenure with the bank, he has helped support main street businesses that work to improve the quality of life for his community.
“It’s an honor to be recognized on this list alongside my fellow award recipients,” said Drew Flaagan. “Being able to work in a career I love while serving the community is incredibly rewarding.”
Beyond his role at FIBT, Drew has served as a referee for high school football and basketball, as well as a scheduling coordinator for fellow referees in Northwest North Dakota. He dedicates much of his spare time to refereeing and has officiated multiple state football championships and basketball post-season contests. In addition, Drew has served on the Fox Hills Golf Board and had an instrumental role in the project to expand the course to 18 holes.
