Cathrine Grimsrud
Cathrine Grimsrud joined First International Bank & Trust in 2019, serving as Managing Director of Mineral and Land Services. During her time at FIBT, Cathrine has established a stand-alone, full-service Oil & Gas Department that features the mineral management software, MineralTracker® and caters to both industry professionals and private mineral owners. Cathrine holds law degrees from the University of Oslo Faculty of Law and the University of North Dakota School of Law. She has held positions as Land Manager and Legal Counsel for private and public oil companies, and recently served as senior attorney for a large Houston-based E&P Corporation. Cathrine has broad experience in the oil and gas transactional space mostly focusing on oil, gas, and midstream contracts, title examination, acquisitions and divestitures, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
Cathrine is originally from Norway and loves horses, skiing, traveling, and hiking – especially in the Norwegian mountains. Cathrine resides in Bismarck with her two children, Haakon and Ella.
