2021 Harvey Telethon

FIBT partners with Central Dakota Food Pantry to support local families

Back in November, First International Bank & Trust’s (FIBT) Harvey location hosted a telethon to raise money for Central Dakota Food Pantry and matched the donations up to $2,500. The annual telethon event has evolved over the years and raises money to provide for food and other basic needs for families through the community. This year, due to a number of generous donations from FIBT customers, the food pantry raised a total of $9,342.

One of FIBT’s central values is leaving a mark on our communities which is something we make a priority each year. “This food pantry reaches about a fifty-mile radius,” said Mark Friedt, Market President, “so we really, truly affect a lot of families.” In addition to the Harvey Telethon, FIBT supported a number of other charitable organizations throughout 2021 both through financial donations and volunteer hours. Employees from our Fargo and West Fargo locations volunteered monthly at Great Plans Food Bank and donations were made a few times throughout the year. FIBT’s three Minot locations made frequent donations to the Our Lady of Grace Food Pantry. Toy and clothing drives were held during the holiday season in multiple branches including Bismarck and Phoenix.
